From Order to First Light
The Process
Every SkyShed is built to order, delivered to your property, and fully assembled. Here's exactly what happens.
Schedule a free 30-minute call with our team. We'll ask about your telescope setup, your backyard dimensions, your power situation, and any local permit requirements. We do this before you spend a dollar — so every quote is accurate and your build is right the first time.
Choose your size (8×8 up to 12×14), exterior color, roofing style, flooring, and any add-ons like extra windows, skylights, or upgraded electrical. We send you a complete itemized quote — no estimates, no surprises. Financing is available if you want to spread the cost.
Our craftsmen in Atglen, PA build your SkyShed using 40-year Galvalume metal panels, pressure-treated lumber, and commercial-grade hardware. The motorized roll-off roof mechanism is tested before it ever leaves our facility. Build time is typically 6–10 weeks depending on the season and configuration.
We deliver and install on your property. Our crew handles site placement, leveling, and full assembly including the electrical panel, lighting, and roll-off roof system. All you need is a level gravel or concrete pad — we can advise on site prep if needed. Most installs are completed in a single day.
Install your pier or mount, polar align, and you're done — permanently. Your telescope lives inside, perfectly aligned, protected from the elements. The next clear night, you walk outside, press the remote, the roof rolls back in seconds, and the sky is yours. No hauling. No cooling delays. No lost time.
